Nordic Union, the continuous musical collaboration between legendary Danish rock singer Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids) and successful Swedish songwriter and producer Erik Martensson (Eclipse, W.E.T.), have announced their third album 'Animalistic.'
As it is now widely known, Atkins was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer, but instead of sulking at home, the legendary frontman has thrown himself into making more music. In March 2021, his solo album 'One Shot' was released, followed almost exactly a year later in March 2022 by another solo album, 'Make It Count.' Not wanting to rest on his laurels, Atkins teamed up with Martensson at the end of 2021 and early 2022 to work on the third Nordic Union album, 'Animalistic.'
Fans of the previous Nordic Union albums will find nothing but pure melodic hard rock joy to immerse themselves in with this third work. Martensson, who has achieved absolute creative and commercial success with the recent Eclipse albums, wrote most of the album with contributions from Atkins and Miqael Persson, and also produced, mixed, and mastered the album. The result is simply inspiring and enjoyable – a true testament to the skills and talent of Atkins and Martensson.
