Based on the 1987 original master tapes used for 'The Later Years', Andy Jackson worked with David Gilmour, assisted by Damon Iddins, to remix and update the recordings. The Album will be available on vinyl, CD, DVD, Blu-ray with stereo and 5.1 mixes.
The release of 'The Later Years' project in 2019 provided an opportunity to re-examine the originally released 1987 Album, 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason'. By revisiting some of Richard Wright's original keyboard takes and re-recording the drum tracks with Nick Mason, producers David Gilmour and Bob Ezrin were able to create a better creative balance between the three Pink Floyd members.
The newly remixed and updated 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason' Album also features a new Album cover, showcasing an alternative bed photo by Robert Dowling from the original cover shoot directed by the late Storm Thorgerson in 2013.
Remixed in 2019 from the original master tapes. Includes bonus material and 5.1 surround sound audio. 40-page booklet. Case includes 6 exclusive stickers designed by Peter Curzon from StormStudios.
